Monday, May 17, 2010

PORTLAND, OR -- The Multnomah County Sheriff's Office said four people were seriously tired after a game of Monopoly on the northeast side of Portland late Saturday night. Authorities said the game was speeding along in the family room until several hotel-laden properties just past Baltic Avenue were hit in succession, causing the players to lose control and roll the dice several times. Authorities on the scene confirmed that two of the players had been taken to a nearby bedroom where they are currently listed as tuckered out, the game's banker was airlifted to a nearby couch and is in a stable, but awkward position, while the fourth player was pronounced asleep at the scene. It is believed that greed was likely a contributing factor in the game.
